Purim is a holiday of joy! We’ll sample some hamentasch (a traditional fruit-filled Purim cookie) and learn about the holiday. Join us for a special project inspired by the current PJCC art gallery exhibit, with Kimberly Gordon, Senior Director of Cultural Arts and Adult Programs.
Bunco is a lively, social dice game that requires no previous experience, making it perfect for newcomers. It’s a game of pure chance, so everyone has an equal opportunity to win. Beginners are always welcome
Join Peninsula Temple Beth El for a day of Purim fun! The Purim Spiel and singalong begins in the PTBE Sanctuary at 10:15 AM, followed by the Carnival in Fellowship Hall from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Games, face painting, crafts, bubbles, food, prizes, hamantaschen and MORE! Come in costume!
For both beginner and experienced dancers, you'll start with simple steps, learn a couple of new dances, and enjoy open dance time where favorites can be requested. Come for an afternoon of fun, learning, and connection with instructor Bronwyn Eisenberg.
The book follows the story of Jacob Fagin, born into the Jewish enclave of Stepney after his father is executed for theft, and forced to navigate a harsh world from an early age. We trace his path into pickpocketing and the unfolding twists and turns of his life.
To wrap up our Winter Fitness Challenge, join us for a celebratory party! We will be celebrating in full 80’s style fashion. Come dressed in your favorite throwback look, enjoy the community energy, and cheer on our participants with fun games and snacks.
