Founded in Prague in 1998, this leading international ensemble is renowned for their technical precision and insightful interpretations. For over two decades, the Bennewitz Quartet has captivated audiences worldwide with their exceptional artistry.
Join us for a special preview of selected movements from Haydn and Dvořák, offering a glimpse into the composers' distinct styles. Named after Antonín Bennewitz, a key figure in the Czech violin school, the quartet carries on a rich musical legacy. This season, they'll grace major European festivals and embark on an extensive US tour, including a recital at the prestigious Cosmos Club in Washington, D.C. We're thrilled to bring this extraordinary performance to our community!
Chama Mechtaly is a Moroccan-born Jewish artist, policy advisor, entrepreneur, and activist, known for her leadership in combatting extremism across both Europe and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. We are lucky that her multimedia art will fill our Gallery this fall, and that she will spend three days in residence with our community!
