This impeccably farmed 80-year-old vineyard produces a wine of true distinction. Planted and farmed for years by John Ricetti; a man with incredible character and a passion to make things grow, and grow well. John lived a very long, healthy life of 95 years; a life of moderation and balance, just like his vineyard. This wine was John's favorite; he especially loved it with a specific dish that his wife Rosa would make from scratch for him - Gnocchi with Sausage & Spinach. Who knows, was John’s long life due to this phenomenal wine he drank every day, or the Gnocchi his wife put so much love into, or is it both that lead John to such a long, healthy life?
