This email is about Google Analytics. If you don't really care about analytics but you *do* care about digital marketing, we will be releasing other digital marketing sprints in the coming months. Stay tuned.
Did you see Google's other deadline?
If not, here's the tea..
By now, you probably already know that Universal Analytics (I refer to this is as Google Analytics 3 or GA3) will stop collecting new data starting on July 1 of this year. (This is why for the last 2+ years, Google as been telling everyone to set up GA4.)
But then this happened last week... Google announced that it would purge all historical data inside GA3 by July 1 of next year...
"Sunset for Universal Analytics platform turndown is July 1, 2024. You'll lose access to the Universal Analytics user interface on July 1, 2024." - Google, Source |
What does this mean?
It means that if you have any data inside GA3--which is the case for most of us--that data will be deleted by Google in about a year!
If your business relies on Google Analytics to understand how your prospects and customers use your website, now's the time to set up and get confident with GA4 before it's too late.
I'm looking for a few marketers to join the first wave of my Analytics Sprints™ mastermind where we will tackle the ins-and-outs of GA4 together, including the correct way to export GA3 data before it's too late.
So if you're not confident with GA4, join the Analytics Sprints™ waitlist--those on the waitlist will be among the first the know when enrollment to Analytics Sprints™ opens.
P.S. When enrollment opens, it will be capped to a limited number of people--this way, I can focus on your individual success. That's why I've created the waitlist.
Hope to see you inside Analytics Sprints.
Cheering you on always,
